Zawya Cinema Celebrates New Edition of ‘Zawya Shorts’ Film Screenings

Downtown Cairo's independent theatre, Zawya Cinema, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by hosting a special film festival called 'Zawya Shorts'. The festival will take place from March 20th to April 7th and will feature a range of Egyptian cinema screenings divided into two phases. The first phase will showcase an out-of-competition section, featuring award-winning films from Zawya's past seven editions. Meanwhile, the second phase will include 33 film screenings as part of the regular competition section. The event is sponsored by Misr International Films, Red Star, Lagoonie Film Production, Film Clinic, and Dahshur Workshops.
