As Ramadan approaches, we are getting excited about those traditional post-iftar nights when the whole family gathers around the TV. Social media is full of teasers for the upcoming Ramadan series, and we can't help but wonder which shows will be the talk of Twitter and which controversial character will create a stir at the dinner table this year. Whether they are 15 or 30 episodes long, we have compiled a list of some of the hottest shows to keep an eye on.

A’la Nesbet Moshahda

The series "A’la Nesbet Moshahda" is based on true events and follows the story of Shaimaa, a poor girl who is obsessed with TikTok. The show spans 15 episodes and features a talented cast including Salma Abo Deif, Entesar, Laila Zaher, Farah Youssef, Mohammed Mahmoud, Hind Abdel Halim, Mohamed Shaheen, and Islam Ibrahim. The series is directed by Egyptian filmmaker Yasmine Ahmed Kamel and written by Samar Taher.

Al Hashasheen

"Al Hashasheen" is a 30-episode period drama directed by Peter Mimi, who also directed the hit Ramadan series "Al Ekhteyar". The show stars Karim Abdel Aziz as Hassan El Sabagh, the leader of Al Hashasheen, a group of Shiite assassins that separated from the Fatimids in the fifth century and operated in the mountains of Persia and Syria. The series depicts their infamous order and their blood-soaked operations. The cast includes Fathi Abdel Wahab, Nicolas Moawad, Mirna Nour El Din, Suzan Najm El Din, and Omar El Shenawy.

Al Maddah 4: Ostorat Al Awda

The new season will be titled "Al Maddah 4: Ostorat Al Awda" and will feature a talented cast that includes Heba Magdy, Sahar Al Sayegh, Ahmed Bedeir, Hanan Soliman, and Khaled Sarhan. The series will be directed by Ahmed Sameer Farag.

Ashghal Shaqa

The 15-episode show revolves around the life of Laila, a single mother who falls in love and tries to balance her new relationship with raising her four children. Directed by Khaled El Halafawy and co-written by Yousr Taher and Rana Abo El Reesh, the series will feature almost all of its original cast except for Mostafa Darwish, who will not be replaced after his passing. Additionally, Sedky Sakhr will be joining the cast in the role of Karim, a new character.
