Hit Egyptian Comedy "El Hareefa" is getting a Sequel

The sports comedy "El Hareefa" has been announced for a sequel, months after its successful theatrical release in Egypt. Starring Nour El Nabawy, Ahmed Ghozzi, Kozbara, and Abdelrahman Mohamed, the movie tells the story of Majed (played by Nour El Nabawy) who has to navigate unfamiliar class dynamics at a public school following his family's sudden bankruptcy.

Directed by Raouf El Sayed and produced by Tarek El Ganainy, "El Hareefa" has broken box office records in Egypt for seven consecutive weeks, grossing EGP 63 million to date. El Ganainy recently announced the sequel during a televised appearance, assuring fans that it won't simply rely on the first film's success.
